b) Google Analytics
For the purpose of customizing and continually optimizing our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereafter “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see point 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as
- browser type / version
- used operating system
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- time of server request
are transmitted to a google server in the US and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and tailor-made website design. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data as processor. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with any other data provided by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case not all features of this website may be fully exploited. You may also collect the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https: //tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be set that will prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again. For more information about privacy related to Google Analytics, see the Google Analytics Help Center (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).
c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
In order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google conversion tracking. In doing so, Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Data protection authorities require the use of Google Analytics for the completion of a contract data processing agreement. A template will be available at www.google.com/analytics/terms/en.pdf from Google. Every adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of adwords-customers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers know the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and proceeded to a tagged with a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the required setting of a cookie – for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”. Google’s privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).
d) Doubleclick
We use doubleclick for analysis and statistical evaluation of the use of the website. Cookies are used for this purpose (see paragraph 4). www.doubleclickbygoogle.com/de/https://www.doubleclickbygoogle.com/de/
e) Privacy Policy for the use of Google Adsense
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google AdSense uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on these pages.
The information generated by cookies and web beacons on the use of this website (including your IP address) and delivery of advertising formats are transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. This information may be shared by Google with Google affiliates. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data you have stored.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all features of this website to the fullest extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
f) Privacy Policy for the use of Google +1
By using the Google +1 button you may publish information worldwide. The Google + 1 button will help you and others to get personalized content from Google and their partners. Google stores both the information that you + 1’d for a piece of content and information about the page you viewed when you clicked +1. Your + 1’s may appear alongside your profile name and photo in Google services, such as search results or in your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads on the web.
Google records information about your + 1 activity to improve Google’s services to you and others. To use the Google + 1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile that has at least the name chosen for the profile. This name will be used in all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace a different name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity of your Google Profile may be displayed to users who know your email address or have other identifying information from you.
In addition to the uses outlined above, the information you provide will be used in accordance with applicable Google privacy policy. Google may publish summarized statistics about users’ + 1 activity or share it with users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers, or affiliate websites.
6. Social Media Plug-ins
On our website, on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, we use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, in order to raise awareness for our foundation. The underlying commercial purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for the operation compliant with data protection is to be guaranteed by their respective providers. The integration of these plug-ins by us is done by means of the so-called two-click method to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.
a) Facebook
Facebook uses social media plug-ins on Facebook to make their use more personal. For this we use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button. It is an offer by Facebook. If you visit a page of our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and incorporated by this in the website. By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are currently not logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the US and stored there. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by pressing the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be posted on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends. Facebook may use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and tailor-made Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook uses usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website in relation to the advertisements displayed on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your related rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/) of Facebook.

When visiting a page of our website that contains such a plug-in, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Twitter “tweet button” while logged in to your Twitter account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We point out that we as the provider of the pages are not aware of the content of the transmitted data and their use by Twitter. If you do not want Twitter to associate your visit to our pages, please log out of your Twitter account. Further information can be found in the privacy policy of Twitter (https://twitter.com/privacy).
c) Youtube
Films and buttons of the video portal provider YouTube LLC are integrated on our website. Youtube LLC is a subsidiary of Google LLC. The Google + site and YouTube channel provider uses Google plug-ins provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, in the United States. You can recognize films on the “Play Button”, placed in the middle of the film – buttons can be recognized by the YouTube logo. If you visit a page of our website that contains such a button or movie, a direct connection between your browser and the respective Youtube- / Google-server is established. Youtube / Google receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. For logged-in Google users, the usage data will be assigned to their personal Google Account. When using features on the Internet that have features embedded by Google, that Google provides (such as “I like” or comments you post), data will be transmitted and published and may be related to your Google account. If you click the Youtube button while logged in to your Youtube / Google account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Youtube / Google profile. This allows Youtube / Google to associate the visit of our pages with your user accounts. We point out that we as the provider of the pages are not aware of the content of the data transmitted and their use by Youtube / Google. If you do not want Youtube / Google to associate your visit to our pages, please log out of your Youtube / Google user account.
In addition, Google is able to identify your identity and habits under this profile along with other data and your real name, if you have provided it with your Google profile. If you always log in to Google via this user profile, Google may in particular find out your preferences, contacts and way of life. As a user, before publishing your posts and comments, you should check them to see if they contain any information you do not want to post. Your posts and topics can be captured in search engines and thus become accessible worldwide.
